A full article is coming, but here are the details on the 4 cars that attended.
88 M3 Cabrio - Click Here for a full story on the build up of my car (be patient, it is a large file with lots of pictures), complete with 97 S52 power and dog-leg gearbox.
89 M3 Cabrio - Mike Down's BEAUTIFUL car only has 8900 miles on the conversion. His car is quite a bit nicer than mine as one would expect for the 140,000 difference in miles on the odometers. This car is so red in person it just about hurts! WOW is it red!
91 325i Touring - My wife's car. I've installed a US 325iS engine to replace the gutless wonder 2.0 six that came in the car. It now has a full E30 M3 suspension, diff and brakes. The car also has a self-leveling rear suspension and cockpit-adjustable Euro headlights. A Hidden Hitch option lets us tow a small trailer without having a hitch ball hanging off the rear of the car the 99.9 percent of the time we don't need it. I also installed the full OBC and cruise control from a 91 M3. Heated seats round out this way-cool family hauler.
85 Euro 318i - Click Here for this car's history. Leo Vandenbosch is the used car manager at Dreyer and Reinbold here in Greenwood. This car has the super light Euro bumpers, Euro lights and minimal equipment that makes it over 400 pounds lighter than my car! "Hey Leo, you want an S14 for that thing?" Man, would it fly. Winter project anyone?
Click Here for some of the better pictures we took while the cars were together. If you have absolutely nothing better to do you can plug http://mproved.com/euroday/1.jpg into your browser, then change the '1' to a '2', etc. There are about 50 pics currently but many of them are nearly the same. Have fun!
